Building on the success of the standalone ROTOTHERM® MINI evaporator, this new system includes all necessary components in a compact, mobile package. It provides a ready-to-use solution for developing and optimizing thin-film evaporation, drying, and solvent recovery processes.
The ROTOTHERM® MINI System arrives fully assembled for immediate operation. Unlike some lab evaporators that require assembling multiple auxiliary components, Artisan’s system includes all essential equipment needed to begin processing within hours of delivery. The compact cart is ideal for labs looking to avoid delays from sourcing and installing external utilities or instrumentation.
Included with the ROTOTHERM® MINI System:

• Feed pump
• Vacuum pump

• Hot oil temperature control unit (TCU)

The system features Artisan’s proven horizontal thin-film design with a high-speed rotor that creates an agitated, uniform thin film. This configuration enables precise control over residence time, supports liquid-to-powder drying in a single pass, and helps prevent fouling. The design is ideal for heat-sensitive, viscous, or foaming materials.
Vacuum operation and short exposure to heat help preserve product integrity, making the MINI System suitable for critical applications across the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and polymer sectors.
