The Rototherm® is capable of single stage distillations on its own.
It can also be used as a column reboiler to evaporate volatiles from a bottoms residue stream to reduce overhead product losses. Another application may use the Rototherm to remove heavy residue from a feed stream and vapor feed columns. Artisan’s Dualflo® Trays handle separations that require fractionation to obtain a pure overheads and bottoms stream and are widely used in processing foaming and fouling materials.
