Artisan Industries is proud to congratulate Omar and Taylor on earning their SOLIDWORKS Product Data Management (PDM) Administrator Certification, an achievement that strengthens the technical expertise supporting our engineering and manufacturing operations.
Earning this certification required Omar and Taylor to build a deeper command of the platform Artisan relies on to manage engineering files, approvals, revisions, and access across complex projects. Their advanced training covered PDM workflows, user permissions, revision controls, system configuration, and day-to-day platform administration before they successfully completed the administrator certification examination.
That knowledge brings immediate value across the organization. As our projects, teams, and digital systems continue to evolve, having certified PDM administrators in-house gives us greater control over how engineering information moves through the organization and helps ensure the right data reaches the right people at the right stage of a project.
Engineering documentation and manufacturing execution are closely connected through the PDM platform. Omar and Taylor’s expanded expertise will help Artisan strengthen that connection by:
- Strengthening engineering data and document control
- Improving the consistency of revision-management practices
- Streamlining workflows between engineering and manufacturing
- Increasing visibility into project files and approvals
- Making more effective use of our PDM platform
Stronger PDM administration helps keep engineering information accurate and aligned as a project moves from design into fabrication. It also reduces revision conflicts and improves coordination between the teams responsible for turning designs into finished equipment.
Omar and Taylor’s accomplishment reinforces Artisan’s commitment to continuous learning and the development of deeper technical expertise across the organization. By pursuing advanced certifications and building knowledge beyond their day-to-day responsibilities, team members help expand both their individual capabilities and the collective expertise available to our customers and project teams.
Taylor is already continuing that professional-development journey by working toward additional SOLIDWORKS certifications in the coming weeks.
Other members of Artisan’s Mechanical Engineering team are also pursuing important career milestones. Ryan, Ute, and Omar have begun preparing for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, the first major step toward obtaining a Professional Engineer license. The FE and PE pathways require a substantial investment of time, preparation, and practical experience, and Artisan is proud to support their continued progress.
Congratulations once again to Omar and Taylor on this well-earned certification, and to the entire Mechanical Engineering team for continuing to invest in the knowledge, systems, and technical capabilities that strengthen every stage of Artisan’s work.
