Artisan Industries was founded by Bob Sinton, Jim Donovan, and Ralph Jope with an initial investment of $2,000. 1946: Expansion and Consolidation
- Moved to larger facilities in Waltham, Massachusetts, to support growing operations.
1965: ROTOTHERM® Trademark
- Introduced the ROTOTHERM®, a groundbreaking horizontal, mechanically aided thin film processor for challenging evaporation and reaction applications. This technology remains central to our offerings today.
1986: Jet-Vac Merger
- Merged with Jet-Vac Corporation, enhancing our capabilities and expanding our product line.
1996: New Manufacturing Facility
- Erected the Castle Street building, adding more manufacturing space and a dedicated customer performance testing area.
2001: Protherm™ Patent
- Received a patent for the Protherm™, designed for the rapid concentration of heat-sensitive materials on a small scale.
2014: Move to Stoughton
- Relocated to a state-of-the-art 120,000 sq.ft. facility in Stoughton, Massachusetts, consolidating engineering, manufacturing, and two explosion proof pilot plant testing suites all under one roof.
2019: FFA Removal Patent
- Granted a patent for a method to remove FFAs and toxins from edible oils using our Short Path Stripper, streamlining oil purification processes without high temperatures or significant product loss.
2021: ARTISAN X-D200 Modular System Release
- Launched the ARTISAN X-D200, a modular thin-film distillation system for solvent recovery, designed for the cannabinoid processing industry. This modular system represents a significant advancement in efficient, sustainable processing technology.
2023: Acquisition of Unique Systems
- Acquired Unique Systems, a leader in ejector vacuum system components and assemblies, further diversifying our product portfolio.
