With a 120,000 square foot manufacturing facility, Artisan has full fabrication and machining capabilities.

Our large engineering team composed of chemical, process, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers helps us handle full system designs and builds under one roof.

Machine Shop Equipment & Services

Artisan has a wide variety of machine tools and specializes in manufacturing large, tight-tolerance parts. Some of our capabilities include:

Tight Tolerances CNC Machining

Maximum Part Size:
- Milled parts: up to 144” x 115” x 78” and up to 70,000 lbs.
- Lathe parts: up to 100” length, 120” diameter, and up to 50,000 lbs.
Crane Capacity: 40-Ton High Bay
Surface Finish: Standard finish as-machined: Mill finish down to pharmaceutical grade

Waterjet

Table size – 97” x 187.75”
Cutting envelope – 72” x 156.5” x 11.5”
Table Capacity – 500 lbs/ft^2
Primarily used to cut metals (Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Titanium, Aluminum, etc.). We also use for cutting non-metallic parts.

Fabrication Equipment & Services

Welding:

Artisan has over 140 ASME Section IX & PED Welding Procedures, covering manual, semi-automatic, orbital, and fully automated robotic processes. These procedures cover a range of metals including Mild Carbon, Chrome Moly, 300 Series Stainless, Duplex Stainless Steels, Aluminum, Titanium, Hastelloy, Monel, and Nickel Alloys. Artisan can also qualify to weld proprietary or undocumented materials.

Artisan Industries Welding Robot:

Capabilities: 6-axis arm, water-cooled GMAW welding, wide range of materials and thicknesses
Current qualified materials: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel (Additional materials can be qualified to ASME or any necessary code.)
Work area limitations: Rotate parts up to 100” x 100”, max weight 5000 lbs.
Types of welds: Fillets, partial and complete joint penetrations
To make continuous welds, 6” clearance is required in tight, 3D spaces.
Material Thicknesses: 3/16” – 8”

Quality Assurance

Quality Control is integral to our daily operations. Our QC manuals comply with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel codes and ISO-10012. Artisan holds multiple certifications:

China Special Manufacturing License: #TS2200F38 – 2025, for Pressure Vessels (D)

Our inspection team includes ASNT certified inspectors for Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Radiography Film Interpretation, ensuring comprehensive in-house quality checks. Hydrostatic testing is routinely performed up to 10,000 psi. Our inspectors also utilize Keyence XM Series handheld probe coordinate measuring machines for precision.

Engineering Capabilities

With nearly 90 years of experience, Artisan excels in designing and manufacturing pressure vessels, rotating equipment, and skid-mounted chemical process systems. We comply with ASME Section VIII Div. 1, ASME B31.3, and local structural codes, and have experience with international standards like SML-China, GOST-R Russia, CE/PED, Canadian CRN, Malaysian DOSH, Korea KGS, and MOL-Japan.
