Systems Analyst 5-2012

We are seeking a hands-on systems analyst with direct experience implementing fully-integrated ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.

The Systems Analyst will direct and lead the re-implementation of our ERP systems and alignment / redevelopment of our businesses process so as to maximize the benefits of these systems.

This is a highly visible role and requires someone with strong interpersonal skills and a strong background in Project Management.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must possess a thorough understanding of the workflow behind the manufacturing process and be well-versed in enterprise software applications, databases, and user support
  • Candidate must have a BS in Finance/Accounting/Business or IT with roughly 5-10 years of experience
  • Must have strong systems implementation background. Experience working with Epicor (Vantage) would be a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of employees
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively present and explain technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Lead and contribute to all phases of implementations, including requirement gathering, design, development, user training, data conversion, testing, documentation, configuration and maintenance

Welder (All Shifts Available) 5-2012

We are seeking a heavy-fabrication welder. Artisan does x-ray quality work on steel, chrome-moly steel, and stainless steels.

5+ years related work experience.

Mechanical Engineer 4-2012

We are seeking a motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our engineering team. The candidate must have a BSME (PE desirable) with 10 years+ experience in design, machining techniques and fabrication practices of precision rotating ASME code stamped pressure vessels and hydraulic equipment for chemical, food, pharmaceutical and petro chemical industries. A comprehensive overall knowledge of pressure vessel design, welding, material selection and fabrication practices per ASME Section VIII Div 1 and ASME B31.3 are required with some technical field support and traveling.

Software proficiency requirements are AutoCAD, Inventor modeling, Ansys finite element analysis, Codeware Compress, Roark and Young, Excel and Microsoft Project.

Project / I & C Engineer 4-2012

Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of project engineering, including selection and design of equipment and instrumentation, developing control philosophy, purchase requisitions, drawings, manuals and the testing of instrumentation and electrical components.

15+ years of Process Design Engineering experience with small to mid size projects is desirable.

This role will prepare project scope packages and formal engineering design packages for capital projects, develop process and equipment engineering packages and prepare reports. The role also includes commissioning and start-up support activities at the site.

Must have experience in designing process systems, developing process flow diagrams, developing piping and instrumentation diagrams, writing equipment and control specifications, performing system optimization activities, and the basic concepts of performing process material and energy balances.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and edit P & I diagrams, instrument loop sheets, size control valves, develop panel drawings, piping layouts and instrument lists.
  • Define process control strategies/narratives and prepare required documentation for third party implementation.
  • Plan, develop and design control systems such as DCS and PLC based systems.
  • Functionally test control systems, including hardware, software and test field devices prior to delivery.
  • Good knowledge of ISA, NEC, IEC, API, NFPA and other codes and standards.
  • Develop and supervise drafting of pneumatic and electrical schematics.
Chemical Process Engineer 3-2012

We are seeking a creative engineer with at least a BS in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years experience with evaporation, distillation and related thermal separation technologies to join our very experienced staff of chemical and mechanical engineers. Experience in working effectively with customers from a wide variety of industries and in configuring, planning, supervising and analyzing pilot plant testing is required. Demonstrated ability to solve chemical processing problems, adapt and design equipment and processes, and work on multi-discipline teams is highly desired.

  • Develop thermal separation process solutions via pilot testing and/or process simulation.
  • Plan, design and execute pilot plant tests using Artisan technology combined with traditional unit operations.
  • Operate and troubleshoot evaporators, heat exchangers, distillation columns, pumps, and instrumentation and controls, including control loop tuning.
  • Prepare concise and technically sound pilot plant test reports.
  • Experience with thermal separation equipment such as thin-film evaporators and distillation columns is a plus.
  • Experience with ChemCAD and AutoCAD is also highly desirable.
Fabrication / Mechanic Helper 3-2012

We are currently seeking a Fabrication/Mechanic Helper with a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and has the ability to read and follow work instructions.

Under the supervision of the Fabrication Foreman and following established procedures the right candidate will perform a variety of duties such as:

  • Grind, deburr, and polish large steel parts
  • Perform manufacturing assembly work
  • Mask parts for blasting and painting
  • Run table saw and capable of driving a forklift
  • Potential back up driver for local deliveries made with company truck (GVW 25,500). Class D license with DOT physical and good driving record required.
  • Stock and count inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Machinists (1st & 2nd Shift) 3-2012

CNC Milling: CNC Milling Machine Operator to operate and assist in set-ups. Experience with large parts, short run/prototypes, and ability to read prints and inspect parts is required.

CNC Horizontal Lathes & Large Manual VTLs: A Proven Machinist to set up and operate large manual Vertical Turret Lathes. Experience with large parts and short run/prototypes as well as the ability to read prints and inspect parts is required. Experience with CNC horizontal lathes is a plus.

These jobs require a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and should have 5+ years related work experience.
